It is with great sadness we learn that Maj. Gen Saeeduzzaman has passed away at Lahore peacefully in his sleep few days ago.

INNA LILLA HEY WA INNA ELHE RAJOUN.

We share the Grief with his family and pray that Almighty Allah grant him Jannah and that his family bare this great loss, as will of Allah Almighty.

We thank Mr. Najum Latif who very kindly informed us. Maj. Gen. Saeeduzzaman was at Government College during 1950-54. He was President of the Old Ravians Union in 2003. He was also President of Pakistan Polo Association. He played cricket with another Ravian, the late Mahmood Hussain who was also known as "Mooda thain". He was a horse lover and a polo player and played polo with the King of Brunei.

He was known to be very close to Benazir Bhutto and fond of singing (and could sing well!) Genl. Perveaz Musharraf had also worked under him.
