It is with great regret to write about the sad demise of an Old Ravian.

Prof. Ghulam Farid also taught Physics in the mid fifties to mid sixty before immigrating to the United Kingdon for higher Education. He was a noble and humble human being. I had the honour of hosting him while his old friend, Abou Al Asar Hafeez Jallendhery was with us - It was early 1980.

I offer our deep sorrow and condolence to his family and friends, May Allah Almighty grant him ‘Jannah’ and give strength to the family to bare this loss.
