CONSTITUTION OF OLD RAVIANS ASSOCIATION UK & EUROPE, 2009

 Affiliated with  OLD RAVIANS UNION, GCU, LAHORE

1. The name of the old boys/ girls Association, Government College/ University Lahore shall be 'OLD RAVIANS ASSOCIATION UK & EUROPE’.
2.  All former students / staff of GOVERNMENT COLLEGE/ UNIVERSITY are entitled to become members of the Association.
3.  All the members of the “OLD RAVIANS UNION” Lahore/ Karachi shall be honoured as members of this Association, but they will have to register themselves within a reasonable time.
4. The office holders of this Association should have a minimum stay at the GC/ GCU for two years and ex-staff member shall have  a similar length of service with the GC/ GCU.
5. Spouses of the members will be automatically entitled for membership.
6. At present there are eight office holders which can be increased if required; the first term will be for a period of two years.
7. Elections can take place at the time of an Annual dinner, for:

• President,
• Vice President,
• Secretarary,
• Five members of the Executive Committee.

8. First subscriptions shall be £20.00 and can be adjusted from time to time. At present the association will give away a free collar pin worth £5.00 to those members who will be paying the above amount. Others can purchase by paying £5.00 any extra collar pin.

(Everyone should know we did not inherit anything and to run any association do need some budget for smooth running.)
